一、基本情况
刘炎，男，应用数学教授、中山大学理学博士，硕士生导师，广东省优秀青年教师培养对象，德国数学文摘、美国数学评论评论员，广东省自然基金、广州市科技计划项目评审专家，皇冠登录入口welcome院长。主讲《数学分析》《概率论与数理统计》《常微分方程》《高等代数》等课程，指导学生参加各类建模竞赛获得10余项国家一、二等奖，指导学生完成多项大学生攀登计划研究。主要从事偏微分微分方程理论及应用研究，涉及流体方程组、波动方程的解的性态研究等领域。主持完成国家自然科学基金青年项目与天元基金各 1 项、广东省自然科学基金 2 项、广州市科技计划项目1项、广东省普通高等学校省级重大科研项目1项；在《J. Differential Equations》《Z. Angew. Math. Phys.》《Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.》等SCI期刊发表论文50多篇；曾经前往德国弗莱贝格工业大学访问半年。
